A word from our founder - Jade Hansen
Sapphire Coast Cakes began as a one-woman operation, after I moved to the area to settle into the country lifestyle and raise my daughter. Since then, we have continued to expand our business, and now we are bigger than ever, and able to bring our services to the entire Bega Valley!
I have always had a passion for baking, and when the opportunity arose to complete an Australian School Based Apprenticeship (ASBA), I set my sights on the stars and began my apprenticeship at the Park Hyatt Hotel Canberra.
Completing my formal training as a Pastry Chef in 2019, I have had an exciting and fulfilling career, traveling Australia and the world.
I have trained under some of the best pastry chefs in the world, and carry their knowledge and experience with me, ready to hand down to the next generation of passionate chefs.
I love what I do, and am passionate about creating lasting memories and bringing joy for all special moments in life, whether you’re celebrating with hundreds of guests, or just your closest loved ones.
